parked off crown point road in strafford in a pull off on the west side of the road, east of the peak, at the start of a road blocked by boulders. this point is shortly before reaching the height of land on crown point road and main parking lot for blue job. no prohibitions noted anywhere along this route. |

from where i parked i followed the blocked road into an old landing then some skid roads up the mountain. turning more to the north in nice open woods i climbed a series of steps up to the high point. descending i took a line right at where i parked with mostly good woods all the way.
somehow i managed to go years before climbing this great little peak. good hike up with a nice west and south facing ledge at the summit that has a great view to parker mountain beyond barn door gap. will need to go up on a clearer day to check it out again.
