lake view trail was mostly dry and in good shape up to the summit where there is a signal beacon. a fair amount of leaves down made for some tricky footing. more of the same coming down the quarry trail. trails are well marked and easy to follow.
having driven by this peak many times i figured i would finally check it out on the way home this afternoon. what a nice little mountain. lots of interprative signage as well as binocular stands at the 3 major viewpoints all of which were quite nice both over winnipesaukee to the north and north east as well as a great one to the belknaps.
