| Dog-Related Notes: |
Kali had fun. She hasn't been able to roll in snow since 6-1-14. Therefore she took full advantage and rubbed her belly in it and rolled on her back. Wet, smelly, very happy dog. No issues, minor snow balls between peaks. |

Great cold windy morning on the Osceola's from Tripoli Road. The wind sounded very angry and I was in full winter gear. Tried out new boots on the short 8 mile trek. Room for improvement, but we are trying. Kali is the best trail companion a girl could ask for. Out and back to the two in no time at all it seemed. Kali used the Chimney Bypass while I chose the bypass of the bypass. It allows me to feel like Jane of Tarzan lore, I was able to swing from trees and keep calm. 1/2-1 inch of snow, but it felt like none of it was on the ground. It was all blowing around in my face. Pretty rime feathers being tossed about on the descent of Osceola on the way to East Osceola. Great morning out! |
