4 blow downs below Starr King. 2 step overs (1 easy, 1 harder with short legs), 1 on the side of the trail easy to pass, and 1 blocking the trail with people going a few feet off trail to go around |

Dusting of snow starting at about 2000 ft. Increasing to 2 inches in places up high. Snow made things a bit slick in places, but not bad. I had an old pair of microspikes with me, but never used them. One other hiker did use Yaktraxs. Mud in normal places, but firming up. View 150 ft past the summit was still nice even though the clouds were just barely above the summit |
