Comments
Comments: What turned out to be a great day for this Squam Range Traverse. Cloudy to start on the way up Doublehead, trail starts out quick and stays steep for quite a while. Once on the ridge, the trail is great, undulating over summits and bumps alike. Lower elevations featured leafless deciduous trees which made footing interesting. A front moved through and cleared everything out, giving us a couple of hours in the sun before it finally went down as we reached Cotton Mountain. Got down through the leaves and to the cars without headlamps. Awesome stuff!
