| Comments: |
Early start at 7AM. Spikes not needed till after about a mile. Many different conditions today. Some ice, snow, slush, mud, drifting snow on ridge, etc....it was all there. Spikes were sufficient in most slippery spots. Sun broke thru some early clouds and became beautiful bluebird day. Spectacular views thru Pemi and beyond. Summits cold but moderate breezes made for a great day! Nice pre-winter tune up :) |
