Comments
Comments: snow depths gradually increased heading up Imp and north Carter Trails. 3-6 inches of solid powder along the ridge. Much less wind than expected..very nice day for this hike with far reaching views in all directions. could have used snowshoes in places but not worth carrying..snow was dense…excellent views from middle south and carter dome. descent down to the notch glorious tho steep with nice views. 19 mile had some ice and we wore spikes most of the way out..thanks #45 heather and kali for a good day out
