Comments
Comments: Bare, dry trail to start. Some standing/running water on trail and lots of slippery leaves for next mile or so. Minor avoidable ice above 3400 ft. Consistent snow on trail above 3,900 ft to hut. With today's warm temps it was wet snow/slush and melting fast. Summit cone was mostly bare/snow-free with only minor snow patches. Plenty of wind up high, but it was a warm sunny day. Bare booted most of the day, only used spikes on descent from hut down to 3,900 ft when snow petered out. Lovely day out on the trails.
