Comments
Comments: Some running water on ascent to Moriah, but mostly dry and snow free until about 3500 feet. Inconsistent and unstable monorail all the way to peak. Ridge between Moriah and Imp campsite is mostly dry, with mud in some places. Snow begins again fairly early on ascent to North Carter and continues off and on through Carter Dome. Trail from Zeta Pass to Dome especially postholey and full of blow downs. Descent to Carter lakes relatively dry. 19 mile brook is muddy in a few places but mostly dry and few blowdowns.
