Sawyer River Road is still open. there was a dusting of snow on it this morning but back to dirt at the end of the day. |

The first mile or so is very muddy, significant mud. I put my microspikes on a short distance from the summit. They were very helpful on the way down as there was quite a bit of ice covered by 1-2 inches of snow. Beautiful day, winds weren't bad at all. |
