| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The parking lot at the end of Bangor road has room for four or five cars. If the space is taken you can park in a spot a short ways down the road. You will see that alternate spot on your left as you drive in. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
There are no water crossings although there is a major mud bog to cross. The bog bridges are rotten and need to be crossed with care. Poles helpful. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There are four major trail blocking blowdowns that require a whack to get around. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
There are no difficulties for dogs. Up to 3000' there is no water. Right now especially about 3500' there is water on the trail. Bring water for your dog. |
|
| Bugs: |
The black flies were very bad. I found that the Repel Eucalyptus spray worked better than the Deet. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
At the trialhead leaning against the sign there is one snowshoe. A blue jacket is hanging on the same sign. |
