Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The parking lot at the end of Bangor road has room for four or five cars. If the space is taken you can park in a spot a short ways down the road. You will see that alternate spot on your left as you drive in.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There are no water crossings although there is a major mud bog to cross. The bog bridges are rotten and need to be crossed with care. Poles helpful.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There are four major trail blocking blowdowns that require a whack to get around.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: There are no difficulties for dogs. Up to 3000' there is no water. Right now especially about 3500' there is water on the trail. Bring water for your dog.
Bugs
Bugs: The black flies were very bad. I found that the Repel Eucalyptus spray worked better than the Deet.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: At the trialhead leaning against the sign there is one snowshoe. A blue jacket is hanging on the same sign.

Comments
Comments: We had the summit to ourselves and spent a very peaceful twenty minutes together just taking in the views and enjoying the breeze.
