Comments
Comments: A picture perfect early winter hike. The trail was clear from previous hikes before the Thursday snowstorm so was easy to follow. Until close to the summit, the snow depth was only a few inches of powder on top of the already broken out trail. We wore microspikes because snowshoes would have made for unsafe hiking up the ledges. Nearer the top, the snow was much deeper so snowshoes would be a good option.
Magnificent views on this windless and beautiful day. Excellent workout!
