Started in snowshoes. Trails are still a little boney for them, should be better after one more good storm. As the day went on and the temp rose to above freezing the smow became quite heavy and breaking trail from zeta pass to carter dome proved to be quite the challenge. Gave up on the shoes and wore micros while my partner barebooted it the rest of the way after we got back to zeta pass.
