A little sketchy, there are rocks most of the time also breakable crust of snow |

Baxter did fine. he did a little slip/sliding up on the ridge and coming down from Lafayette |

| Comments: |
Put microspike on and wore them all day. The trails a nicely packed where there is snow. Up on the ridge and coming down off Lafayette there is bare rock, very icy rock, snow and deep drifts. (Doesn't get much worse than that). Microspikes worked ok but there were times when I wished I had something a little more aggressive. |
