Comments: Bald Mountain Notch Trail, Stark,, NH. Curious thing at about elevation 1500 on left side of trail there was flagging on a tree, so I looked past it about 50 feet off, I spied 4 more trees wrapped obviously marking something? I investigated and in the middle there was this CT trial marker. I made a big circle around it and feared I lost the trail. I returned to the last blaze and ignored the flagging and continued straight up trail and found the next yellow blaze. No idea what that detour was marking. The trail is well marked the with yellow blazes. Bald Mountain Notch Trail, Stark,, NH. Tell Steve I found his tree!Tell Steve I found his tree! I went out and back and its a good trail for skis, not too steep and wide enough for a fast trip downhill.
