Trail across Rowe to Gunstock summit was beautiful. Light traction a good idea for better footing- not needed. Some post holing between Gunstock and Belknap, overall packed down well. Brook Trail down to Gunstock Ski Area parking lot nicely groomed for skiiers. We wore snowshoes to avoid stepping in. Broke out bottom half of trail- minimal snow depth. Fire tower was totally rime ice encrusted...beautiful! Wednesday's rain will further consolidate snow pack and lead to icing. |
