Walked Zealand Road one mile to the trailhead. Parking across on the other side of 302. |

The trail was not broken out. Some low lying tree branches over hanging the trail. Easy to navigate around them. |

Saw a cute little dog walking out on Zealand Road. The dog owner said he and his dog had hiked Hale today. |

Just a beautiful day with spectacular views from Middle and North Sugarloaf. We broke trail the entire trip. The snow was light and powdery. We felt snowshoes were the best option for today and we were glad we brought them. These summits are A++ for a winter hike. |
