Comments
Comments: Nine of us (Mary-Ann, Richard, John, Robin, Baby Jack, Ryan, Kara, Matt, and Dog Jack) hiked in the counterclock direction to the first open ledge on Welch Mountain. From there only Ryan, Kara, and Matt continued on and completed the entire loop trail. We had gorgeous weather and the temperature was not too hot but just right. We took food breaks at the first ledge on Welch and then Welch summit and Dickey summit. The views were great in all directions. Welch summit is more open but Dickey summit is a little bit higher in elevation and allows you to see north as well. Overall it was a great day and we enjoyed a great hike.
