Trail Maintenance Notes: John Thompson - volunteer for the USFS who adopted this trail was clearing some trees off the upper part of the trail today. Hats off to him and other volunteers!

Lost and Found: Found some kindling and a lighter and returned to the owner. 
 
Comments
Comments: A blue bird day in the Whites. The Black Mountain Ski Trail is mostly covered in snow although there were several running water crossings easily crossed with the snow melting in the above average temperatures. Used micro-spikes both up and down from the summit for superb footing on both granular and loose snow conditions. There are some views on the summit but is slowly getting choked out from conifer growth. More info on the link below.
