Comments
Comments: i was glad to have left the snowshoes behind for this one. lots of bare ground down low with loads of exposed ledge and rock higher up. snow was packed lumpy and frozen hard with some sections of ice that could be navigated pretty easily. microspikes worked well. heading to the north peak viewpoint the trail was less travelled with a lot of exposed ledge after the initial short descent.

despite the lack of snow it felt a bit like winter today with the cold breezy conditions. views were phenomenal and far reaching from the main summit and north ledges.
