What a great day for this hike. Valley way is well packed and above tree line is pretty much ice or frozen icy snow with occasional drifts. Madison was much more icy than Adams but both are very doable with spikes. Nice to hike up with Glen, didn't see anyone else until a couple of hundred yards from my truck on the way down. Temps were warm and very little wind. |
