Comments
Comments: Stayed to side of groomed WVV trail system. On leaving that, a couple of ski tracks all the way past Scaur Ridge trail and otherwise a chewed up trail - evidence of little snow shoe use up to north loop of Mt Tripyramid trail. After that, broke out Scaur Ridge trail up to ridge, encountering deeper snow up high. Turned west to Scaur Peak- very deep snow but no problem thanks to short distance. Found summit sign but no canister. Pretty day but cold. Met large group heading up just after north slide sign- not a snow shoe in sight. Nice little minefield after that.
