Comments
Comments: pinebend brook trail had a nice smooth snowshoe track all the way to the ridge. i suspect this will not be the case by the end of the day. a bit of ice starting to pop out of a couple steep pitches courtesy of butt lugers. was happy to find that lucky laura had been out the day before and nicely busted out the short open bushwhack to the summit of scaur.

nice hike up to scaur peak. despite climbing tripyramid numerous times in winter i never made the side trip for a winter ascent. a bit warm down low, but cool on the ridge. interesting drive home. great to be out.
