Comments
Comments: This hike had been on my to do list for a long time. Erica helped me to get it done, finally. We hit the perfect day for it. Cool temps, partly cloudy and no bugs. We were amazed how much work had been done to clear all the sections of the many big blowdowns. Kudos to their effort. For most part the trails were dry with only few muddy places in the usual locations. Hiking poles were helpful to negotiate the small logs across the ankle deep mud spots. Only hikers we met were all along the trail on the Carters.
