From the summer lot to the first intersection with the snowmobile trail was packed well. The length of trail between the first and second snowmobile trail crossing was a little rougher. It appears that someone on skis broke out the first half of this section the turned around. So, I ended up breaking the remainder of the trail. After the second snowmobile crossing (~2100 ft), I opted to follow the snowmobile trail to the top. Much less work that way. :) Went down the same way I went up.
Saw about 12 snowmobiles and no other hikers. One could probably bareboot the whole thing if a snowmobile trail is taken the entire way. |
