Comments
Comments: As long as it's below freezing you can wear light traction for the first 2.5 miles until the steeps. From there snowshoes are the way to go. There is the usual drifting along the ridge before breaking out of the trees and then some icy spots just below the summit. After the storm and as it warms up you'll need your snowshoes or you're going to post hole. Great morning hike with Whitney, big views and big wind on the Moose! SSW48 completed :)
