Comments
Comments: It was a great day on the Baldfaces. There was a packed trail with 2-4 inches of powder with sections where windblown snow had completely covered the trail. Ice ax was a useful safety item for North Baldface ascent of its south face. 10 hours roundtrip. I saw no one else besides my hiking partner. This hike is way better than 75% of the 4000-footers.
