Spring hiking, winter conditions. We had a great hike complete with sunshine and great views. Pancks and Tesco Heaney posts from last week accurately capture current trail conditions in great detail. The only thing I would add is that the trail has developed an annoying slant for ~1 mile on the assent to the ridge, making it like walking along a steep beach. It made my hips and feet cranky, but maybe that is just me. |
