Comments
Comments: Wore microspikes the entire distance to the hut on Nineteen Mile Brook Trail without any problems as the surface was well packed. Started up Carter-Moriah with the microspikes but found the traction was poor on the smooth steep surface. Switched to the snowshoes with crampons for the rest of the circuit. All the trails were broken out. Some of the areas in the open were more choppy due to drifts but it was still not difficult. A short side path is broken out on the Black Angel Trail to a nice viewpoint over the Wild River Valley. The short side path to Pulpit Rock viewpoint is also broken out.

Saw a Pine Marten at Zeta Pass. Saw Franco at the junction of Nineteen Mile Brook trail and Carter Dome trail.
