Beautiful hike; hiked with poles and snowshoes, but didn't end up using the shoes. Small scrambles are a little harder with the snow, but no part of the trail was particularly difficult. Trail narrows in several places as well, so watch your footing. Take your time coming down, as well. The snow is melting but there's still plenty up there! Also be sure to not miss the clearing, less than half a mile from the summit, on the south face of the mountain. Beautiful views, just as good as the views from the top. |
