Did not see anyone on the trail besides my hiking partner, on the way back we saw ski tracks :). Trail was packed down nicely with a few post holes, new snow all the way up North peak and around the loop( about 1 to 2 inches--beautiful to snow shoe in) at least 7 feet of snow still on peaks which allow for fabulous views , the new snow made for a gorgeous winter wonderland on the summits. Below, spring like sticky soft snow---we wore snow shoes most of the way.Great day out and sunshine to end with Marc. |
