Watch for stinging insects on the ledges - there was a LOT of humming. Also, on the descent, mid-morning, the bugs SWARMED my eyes unbelievably the last 3 miles down - I didn't want the use the DEET so it was REALLY annoying- I am still trying to get the last bug out from under my eyelid |

Awesome day! Hazy views - couldn't see too much, tho. Had the trail and the summit to myself. I think this trail should be renamed to the trail of cairns - I have never seen so many - they are really needed due to the constant curving of the trail. Good ankle workout, too! |
