All trails along with the road walk were packed solid this morning with 12 degree start temp. Bare boots or light traction was sufficient to get to the summit, but snowshoes worked the best in some of the drifted areas near the top and on the descent as the the snow softened a bit in the afternoon. Not a cloud in the sky today, albeit a bit breezy on the summit. Great day out with Guy J. and Hiker Ed. |
