| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Lincoln trailhead well plowed, Winslow parking at bottom of closed access road. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow - Spring Snow, Snow/Ice - Postholes |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Still passable with a jump, but beginning to widen with run-off. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lincoln is tricky and largely untracked past the first mile; without snowshoes the crust of varying thickness will support in some places, crack in others, sending you through a couple of feet of powder below. Rollins is packed nicely w/ snowmobile traffic, and all of Winslow is firmly packed with minor postholes. |
