Comments
Comments: An excellent day on the Cardigan Ski Trails with Nordic Gal. We got fresh tracks on the ski trails after the new couple of inches of new snow/slush this week on a very solid/thick base. We looked above the Warden's Cabin and the ledges there were quite icy so we pulled the skins off our skis/snowboard there and descended. Mixed conditions from crust to spring corn on the Alexandria - fun to snowboard the spring snow!!!!

From there, we headed to the Kimball, skied/rode to the Manning Trail and then re-ascended to actually redline the entire Kimball after doing the Dukes Ski Trail. Good coverage but some flat spots.

The lower pasture of the Duke's Ski Trail is melting fast - there were some bony spots I rode across. The liftline looked to have decent coverage and no tracks but, it's always fun to ride in the pasture!!! The Dukes was pretty fun as well. WE skinned up the Dukes Ski Trail to the woods above the ledges and above the junction with the Manning Trail. We skied/rode the ledges (skier's right) - really fun in the open with terrific views - quite special!!!!
