we found mostly a mix of dry and wet trail up to red spot then some small snow patches with one substantial one in a dip before the ridge. clear on pumpelly but for the dip before the summit where there was a fair amount of snow. white arrow clear to the trees then spotty to side foot and smith which again was just spotty snow. same on cliff walk. lost farm was clear and generally dry, but with a fair amount of leaf cover in spots. parker clear and dry.
nice day on monadnock. this turned out to be a great loop both for variety and to find some quieter trails. had not been on some of these for a number of years. views were pretty phenomenal today. snow was pretty much a non issue on these mostly south facing trails. |
