Comments
Comments: West Ridge Trail. Beautiful, albeit very windy at the summit. Trail is wet/muddy on the lower half with a trace of Spring snow from this week. Upper half still has minimal snow and ice, though fresh powder provided good traction over ice ledges with microspike assistance. Summit ledges mostly bare, small patches of ice, easily avoidable. I'm a relative newbie hiker and had no issues navigating or ascending/descending this trail today!
