Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Many minor blow downs on both the Carter and Middle Sister Trails. Carter Ledge cliffs wet in sections, use caution. Middle Sister trail is not well marked, no blazes for first 2 miles from summit. We had difficulty following trail at time. Still 3-4 feet of snow on Middle Sister trail from 2,500 ft. to summit. Some in our party used snow shoes, other bare booted post holing much of the way.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: 3 dogs with us did just fine, loved rolling in the snow. Plenty of water to drink on the trail
Bugs
Bugs: none yet
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing

Comments
Comments: This is a classic Whites adventure with breath taking views for much of the climb, especially on the cliffs and above tree line. Use care in climbing several sections of the cliffs as the rock face is wet with some snow and ice.
