Snowshoes |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
All were rock hoppable but a couple required stepping on slightly submerged rocks. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Stoney Brook Tr had a couple medium size trees down near the beginning. C - M Tr had lots of debris and small blowdowns. From Stoney Brook Tr to Mt Moriah most have been chopped out. To the south, and along Imp Shelter Spur it is quite messy. I pushed what I could out if the way but many are stuck in the snow. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Marlie led the way today. Easy route for dogs. The steep section just below the summit was a snowy ramp. |

It was nice walking on dry trail for a bit but the snow starts around 2500' and gets deep quick. There is still several feet at higher elevations and snowshoes are quite helpful. I put them on near the upper crossing on the mossy ledge. Lots of postholes, especially heading south on C - M Tr. The ledges heading up Moriah are melting fast but there is still lots of snow in between and decided to just keep the snowshoes on rather than keep switching back and forth. I saw some bear tracks less than half mile from the summit of Moriah and dog tracks with no human prints around since the last snowfall. I decided to check out the Imp Shelter and red line the spur trail that I missed a couple of years ago. We encountered no other hikers today. Awesome!
