No blowdowns on Gunstock Mountain Trail (Orange). Removed three blowdowns on Blue Trail portion of Belknap Range Trail, but one large one chainsaw blowdown remains less than a quarter mile from the summit (accidentally brought my root saw, so there was no way I could cut through it). |

| Comments: |
Gunstock Mountain Trail was mostly dry and, with the exception of a few small patches near the top, snow free. Still plenty of deep snow on the Gunstock ski trails.
Belknap Range Trail descending Gunstock to the col had some significantly wet/muddy areas, as well as some patches of snow and ice. Upon entering the softwood on Belknap, there is still consistent snowpack of around a foot deep. Not enough to warrant snowshoes or traction.
Upper Red Trail also has lots of spring snow and ice and muck. Not recommended at this point. Snow free below the viewpoint, and mostly dry where it was rebuild by the BRATTS last year.
Carriage Road is still gated, but is snow free and dry. |
