Comments
Comments: Great day out on the ridge today. I got out some what early to avoid the afternoon weather and hot temps. Greenleaf hut was open but on a caretaker basis only.

the ridge was Clare of most snow and ice. The section of trail between Little Haystack and Mt. Liberty was soft deep snow. Post holed to the max. I was luck I had snowshoes and the trail was still terrible. It was really tough walking even all the way over to Mt. Flume. I saw about a dozon people out today working hard trying to get through the snow with sneakers.
With clear conditions it was a great morning for this hike. Great to be back on the Ridge
