Comments
Comments: Mostly dry trail up and over the ledges of Mount Surprise. Mostly avoidable monorail (postholed to my knee a couple of times) for about the last 1/4 mile to summit. Pretty deep snow pack at the junction to Moriah summit (not a problem). Great day to be out, forecast was for rain showers and there were none.
