Comments
Comments: Great to meet up with Lori, Kristy and Pemi near the end of Valley Way. Thanks to longmark's post on Friday none of us carried snowshoes and they would not have been helpful. Just above the tentsite spur there is some monorail which is mostly solid though soft. Spikes were helpful descending. Above treeline all snow on the trails we used has melted. The morning fog lifted as we got to the summit of Madison so we had great views. Hopefully after today all the winter gear can go into the garage until November!!
