| Water Crossing Notes: |
Crossings of Cedar Brook and Pine Island Brook were fine. For East Branch crossing I went about 100' upstream from where bridge used to be and found crossing with knee deep water and mild current. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Few blowdowns out farther but nothing serious. Wet, muddy area on Cedar Brook Tr. has had drainage worked on. Much better--good work. |

| Bugs: |
Black flies there but deet and movement kept them back. |

| Comments: |
Chose here today because looked like summits in the clouds. Wanted to check out East Branch crossing and then later Pine Island Tr.. This was a nice little loop with a few views and access to river. Crossing of East Branch probably difficult with higher waters but was told there were better crossings earlier on trail. |
