There is minor mud along Lowe's Path until Gray Knob. Also there is still minor snow patches along Gulfside Trail. Signifcant running water/wet trail along Jefferson Loop.

Bugs
Bugs: bugs are starting to come out folks. I brought the spray but didn't need it as I kept moving at a good pace. Nats were out but black flies weren't bad.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: lost my snow caps to my hiking poles- no biggy they came off too easily anyways I will have to buy better ones and tape them on for next winter season.

Comments
Comments: An incredible climb- started little after 10:30 got warm quick realized winter boots were probably not needed. First part of Lowe's path is nice grade there are a few spots of mud especially the worst spot is right before the start of the trail near the rail trail. I knew in between log cabin and gray knob would be steep- made me work up a good sweat. Views and clouds were awesome and rolling over the ranges once I got to the top of thunderstorm jct. Decided to head to Jefferson (don't ask me why I didn't take randolph path there to begin with, I realized this on my way down). Ran into a few snow patches nothing that was serious- hopefully will be gone within the week. Jefferson Loop was full of running water and was wet until the last .2 which gets very rocky. Enjoyed a Limbo IPA by Long trail on the top of Jefferson. Followed my steps to thunderstorm jct and took the israel ridge trail to the top of Adams. Met three guys going to Madison for the night. Followed my steps down to the car...was back by 8pm. Had an awesome trip- great way to celebrate college graduation.
