Comments
Comments: I'm the volunteer maintainer for Martha's Mile which runs along the ridgeline of Cherry Mountain and connects the Mt. Martha peak with the Owl's Head peak. Other individuals maintain the trails leading up to Cherry Mountain (i.e. Cherry Mountain Trail, and Owl's Head Trail).

Anyway, it's been quite a while since I've encountered as many blowdowns along Martha's Mile as were seen on this trip. All the big ones were taken care of, just leaving a couple of easy step-overs to be removed on another day.

Regarding the Cherry Mountain Trail, it was overall in good shape. There were a few easy "step-over/duck under" blowdowns which will be easy work for the maintainer of that trail.
