| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
two mentionable blowdowns down low, both on the far side of the two 93 underpasses. Lots and lots of use and therefore erosion on this trail. Wet trail is causing people to go around instead of walk on the rocks and it is pealing back the embankments, sad. |

Kali loved all the water, this trail follows water for the first half of it and she dipped as much as she could |
|

After work I decided to go up and get the other redline on Indian Head. Last year I did it from the other side as an out and back to avoid getting lost in the dark, leaving the southern trail hanging out there. I drove up through a ominous storm with low hanging scary clouds and fast moving heavy rain. Right into a rainbow! I was driving through a rainbow, that can't be a bad sign, right? I checked the radar at the trail head and the storm seemed to have passed. I knew I didn't need the last 0.1 m of the trail as they coincide and I got that last year. So, I went up hoping to at least finish the redline. To my surprise, it had passed and I was able to make it to the summit and be greeted by great views of undercast South of me. Kali and I took some pictures and headed right back down. Great short night hike! |
