Found the actual highpoint of Willard. I think. |

A quick afternoon hike up this popular and easy 52WAV peak. We continued past the summit ledges on the herd path to the two additional and more quiet outlooks, and also did a short bushwhack behind the ledges to what we believe is the broad, wooded highpoint of Willard. The abandoned side path to Hitchcock Flume (still shown on maps) is "brushed in" with logs. I still haven't been down there, so maybe next time. |
