| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Room for a few vehicles to park near the gate of the logging road (on 112, west of proper trailhead) without blocking it. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth |

| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Took logging road just west of trail head, which avoided the only water crossing. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Multiple blowdowns on Mt. Potash Trail, all could be taken out with a hand saw (was short on daylight). |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
May not be a good idea when wet, due to slippery/dangerous ledges. |

| Comments: |
Logging/fire road was a nice walk - much nicer than taking the trail proper from the UNH/Downes Brook trailhead. Patchy snow starting around 1,700 feet or so, never too much. Ledges mostly dry (though still found a way to slip on the way down). Passaconaway, Tripyramids, Hancocks, and Carrigain all white. |
