Parked at the trail sign at the end of Clifford Brook Road on the western end, plenty of parking (two other vehicles) at Three Ponds trailhead on the east. |

Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Sucker Brook crossing easily hopped. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Several blowdowns of all varieties (step over, duck under, climb over) on both ends of the Carr Mountain Trail. One section near the western end (before the field by the house) very brushy, but easy to follow. |

Pretty negligible with the cloudy and cool day. |

| Comments: |
A Carr Traverse on this cool, drizzly morning. Up to the summit was smooth sailing from the eastern trailhead, while the west side featured some blowdowns and the aforementioned brush in the last half mile. Both Mike and myself picked up a dozen ticks each walking through the field to the house at the end of Clifford Brook Road... yuck! |
